Tablenu Flexibility

Below you’ll find three different dining models and their potential use cases. These are the three main configurations and implementations we believe a restaurant may use Tablenu for.

The Contactless Model:

  • Customers order, pay, and make requests directly from their phone all without downloading an app or signing up for an account
  • Servers now have more time freed up to focus on the customer’s experience rather than trying to take orders down, send the orders to the kitchen, all while trying to serve customers with a smile
  • This model is best suited for small to midsize restaurants with a recurring customer base

The Traditional Model:

  • Ordering is strictly done by the server on their own smart device
  • This model retains the more intimate and personal server-to-customer dynamic most people are familiar with
  • Improves upon the original model by eliminating handwritten order notes and instead has the server send orders to the kitchen directly from the customer’s table
  • Well suited for high-end restaurants looking to put food quality and customer service on the same level of importance

The Hybrid Model:

  • The majority of the ordering is done by the server
  • Customer is able to control aspects of the meal such as ordering another drink or food item, requesting their server, or even paying the bill independently of their server
  • This model blends the Contactless and Traditional models together to create a synergistic time-saving relationship between the server and customer
  • Well suited for a restaurant of any size and caliber

These dining models are by no means set in stone. Tablenu does not require its subscribers to adhere to a certain model or plan. Any restaurant of any size and caliber can implement Tablenu how they see fit. A small restaurant in the middle of Parkersburg, Iowa may actually find our Traditional Model suits their needs better than the Contactless Model. Maybe they are rarely busy and that more personal server-to-customer dynamic actually generates more business because it makes people feel more welcome. Perhaps there is a small Mom and Pop diner that is having a difficult time staying afloat. They may try implementing The Hybrid Model in an effort to cut down on labor costs.
